Launching International Kushikatsu Master and Apprentice program (Kushikatsu Warrior Training) Learn the latest kushikatsu cooking techniques from a professional kushikatsu master in Japan with an interpreter.

Recruiting chefs to pass on kushikatsu, Japanese SOULFOOD, to the world! ! We are looking for a total of 20 apprentices of professional kushikatsu chefs from the United States, China, Taiwan, and Korea! One special winner will receive a full tuition fee exemption + the latest cooking utensils! Half-price tuition exemption for top 10 students

Makoto Yoshino, 20 years experienced professional Kushikatsu chef and President of the Japan Kushikatsu Association will train you side by side.

At the Japan Kushikatsu Association, as part of the activities to pass on "kushikatsu", one of the Japanese food cultures, to the world, not only overseas professional chefs, but also learn about kushikatsu from now on, and think about becoming independent. We are looking for chefs to take over. We will teach you how to make a hybrid kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) that combines the latest cooking utensils packed with our association's technical and Japanese scientific capabilities!

In a world where automation is progressing with AI, we dare to create an old-fashioned master-apprentice system. As a program to leave the skills and aspirations of kushikatsu from person to person for future generations Hybrid Kushikatsu® aims to cultivate first-class professional chefs who can be recognized worldwide as apprentices of the Yoshino school.

What is Hybrid Kushikatsu®?

Kushikatsu is an eco-friendly cooking method using the latest cooking utensils.
Unlike conventional fried food, we change and adjust the properties of the oil at the molecular level.
The main effect is
  • Less oil deterioration and longer service life
  • Suppress oil smoke
  • Reduce the oil absorption rate of deep-fried food and reduce the loss of oil
  • Improve the taste of fried foods
In particular, the effect of reducing the refueling rate is large, and the amount of oil used per month is significantly reduced.
For example, when I was using 5 cans a month, it decreased to 3 cans.
It is an eco-friendly new cooking method that also leads to SDGs.
